Project Description
St Johns Park High School is a co-education secondary school located in Sydney’s South West suburb of Greenfield Park. BFX worked closely with the school’s executive team to update their current general learning areas to various school blocks throughout the school. The school has invested in classroom refurbishments to improve the learning spaces for their students.

Scope
BFX designed and supplied classroom furniture for an entire block including:
- 8 Senior General Learning Areas
- Custom fit-out of Retail Training Room
- Custom fit-out of Computer Labs
Key Services
The ongoing development of the relationship between BFX Furniture and St Johns Park High School has strengthened by the completion of recent GLA projects. Initial plans to roll out all GLA’s in C Block were successfully completed, allowing modifications and alternative future focused learning spaces to be implemented in the recently installed GLA’s in D Block.
Both blocks practiced alternative learning pedagogies and the selected furniture has been a focal point in distinguishing how the spaces have been utilised successfully by both teachers and students.
The process of initial consultation with the executive team allowed various ideologies of how the new GLA spaces were being used. This lead to various 3D floorplans designed and presented for feedback and modifications. The new GLA’s also allowed the executive team to select a new range of fabrics to highlight the unique learning areas for the senior staff.
