St Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace

BFX was honoured to work with St Joseph’s College, Gregory Terrace on the redevelopment of Margaret Rice Place – a milestone project shaping a new era of primary learning. This transformation reimagined an old urban building into a contemporary six-level vertical school featuring new Year 5 and Year 6 classrooms, a library, general learning areas, common zones, staff rooms, and an amphitheatre, all thoughtfully designed to elevate the primary years’ experience.

Working closely with the College, BFX delivered a comprehensive furniture package tailored to create flexible, inspiring spaces that foster collaboration, creativity, and wellbeing. Across the general learning areas, commons, library, and staff rooms, soft furnishings including Cushox Round Ottomans, Cush Lounges, Jewel Ottomans, and Jelly Chairs brought warmth, comfort, and versatility. In classrooms, SmarTable Student Tables, Mars Turn Tables, and Dynami Student Chairs provided ergonomic and adaptable solutions for every learning style. Kaboodle Teacher Stations and Stash Storage Trolleys further enhanced organisation and efficiency. The result is a modern, high-performing environment where thoughtful design, function, and innovation come together to inspire and support the St Joseph’s College community – showcasing BFX’s ongoing commitment to creating spaces where learning flourishes.
