There are many things to consider when choosing your premises. Tenancy assessment is a large part of this is considering the building’s core facilities. ie: Parking and tenant/contractor access can affect your use of the tenancy and costs of occupying.
The office space itself can be laid out in a way that can be easily fitted out to your requirements or there may be elements that make your preferred arrangements more difficult. We are there to assist our clients during this critical stage.
Top Tenancy Assessment Tips
- Don’t inspect the tenancy without a BFX consultant who can help you assess the space against your requirements.
- Don’t assume that a similarly sized area will function just the same as one you previously used – different shaped spaces and different construction types have unique space planning issues and costs.
- Inspect other tenancies in the building to see how they used their space, how much they fit into similar spaces and speak with other tenants about the building facilities strengths and weaknesses.
- Get a quote for the fit-out so that you can use this knowledge during negotiations with the Landlord.
