Working With Charities

BFX Furniture worked with the Compass Institute, an award winning Sunshine Coast based Charity dedicated to providing support for people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. We are continuing to support their organisation by donating furniture to assist in the facilitation of educating and implementing their own Indigenous Employment Policy.

Indigenous Inspired Fabrics

BFX Furniture is excited to be working in partnership with Warwick Fabrics and employing Indigenous Australian artists to design a range of Indigenous inspired commercial fabrics. The fabrics will be available on the BFX range of products and will also extensively promote these fabrics in several business/education/government projects across Australia and New Zealand. A percentage of the sales will be donated to Australian Indigenous organisations with a focus on education.

Upgrading Educational Facilities

BFX Furniture worked with Aboriginal Communities in remote areas of Queensland with the goal of improving Indigenous Students Leaning Environments. Within island communities we worked with a team to upgrade education facilities with new furniture. This was a non-profit initiative that included significate donations.

Training Services in Delivery & Installation

BFX Furniture has employment opportunities that fall outside the main Sunshine Coast factory, warehousing and distribution facility, as well as large project works in distant areas. In such areas, BFX staff manage and facilitate the training of labour hire employees on site in furniture delivery and installation. We aim to increase the employment of Indigenous Australians at the level of their representation in the community, or greater, as we recognise that Indigenous Australians make up 2.5% of the Australian population.
